The first rock
Since 2004 our founder has been involved in the processing of Shrimp from Venezuela to the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Europe and Asia. Always in the improvement of quality and freshness of the packaged products we were gaining demanding clients in the field of Fish and Seafood.
In 2007, the company Grupo Onmsa was born with the purpose of selling and supplying ice in industrial quantities to farms that cultivated shrimp in Zulia State, Venezuela. The success was such that the company began its process of expansion and good relations with shrimp farms.
Organizational and image changes
Due to the success of the company in the distribution of ice to shrimp farms for their harvests, the commercial relationship and the business of buying and selling shrimp to be distributed locally are started.
In 2013 the company changes its management structure and is made up entirely of our CEO and his wife. At the same time there is a refresh of the company's logo and image.
Proud of our brand
After 10 years of experience, in 2017 the company ventured into the Chips market and began processing green plantains in the southern region of the country, packaging them under the own brand LUSSIA (Platanitos), which was successfully distributed in the country's large supermarkets.
A new Onmsa is born
After several meetings held between the directors of the company looking for the expansion of the organization to other latitudes, in 2019, the Organization establishes the company ONMSA COLOMBIA SAS in the Colombian country with the purpose of marketing seafood from Venezuela throughout the territory and expanding knowledge in the development and marketing of locally produced snacks.
Expanding LUSSIA and our PPE Brands
Unfortunately in 2020 COVID impacts the entire world and everything is paralyzed, however the company's approach to the distribution of its own brand products remains intact and the LUSSIA brand is registered in the Colombian territory, as well as hygiene brands and medical elements such as OCLEAN2 and SAFE2LIFE.
ONMSA in the US
With the aim of expanding the presence in the international market in August 2020, the company ONMSA USA LLC is registered in Houston Texas. Due to the pandemic, the company began to move medical supplies products in the category of nitrile gloves.
Early 2022 the company is opened a new branch in Arizona, looking to serve the West Coast of the United States with our products using Long Beach - California as a main seaport.
LUSSIA an american brand
Lussia had to be present in the United States of America, for this reason the directive decides to register the trademark in Arizona in May 2022 with extension to the national territory.
The head of the Organization
In the year 2022, the decision is made to establish a main parent company that governs all Onmsa branches called ONMSA CORPORATION.
This 2022 our organization is 15 years old and we are very proud of the success over the years.
We continue our alliances with companies involved in the field of commercialization of commodities in Asia and the Latin American giant Brazil. Entering into the issue of Exportation of Sugar, Soybeans, Chickens and other basic supplies of global demand.
